Back to Home Pagethese music files will be updated from time to time as time and enthusiasm permit
These are Midi Files I created when singing in the Purcel Chamber Choir, used
for learning the music as I could increase the volume on the bass or tenor part
until I knew the music backwards! Once the volumes are set right for each voice,
I let them play in a loop, over and over until it got drummed into me and I
could then concentrate on the words. Since I am not able to sight read music, I
had to enter the notes one-by-one which took forever!
I found that using Anvil Studios gave me all the functions I needed to create
the files, and they will play back on the free version available here:
http://www.anvilstudio.com/ I
actually have paid for some of the add-ons but just to play the midi file
the free version is fine. Note, you will be able to hear the music using your
default Windows/Mac player, but you will not be able to alter the volume of the
individual tracks/voices. they are set to however I last had them, probably biased to the Bass.
